About

Mayden is driven by the mission to create digital technology that changes what’s possible for clinicians and patients. We create insightful cloud-based software that support healthcare services to deliver patient centred, outcome focussed and data driven care.

Our flexible and customisable electronic patient record (EPR) system – iaptus – is now the leading clinical software for psychological therapy services in the UK. iaptus manages the care of over 70% of referrals to NHS Talking Therapies  services (formerly IAPT) and securely holds the records of over 8 million people.

Mayden works primarily with mental health services delivering psychological therapies to both adults and children, but also supports physical health services such as diabetes remission, CVD prevention and weight management. We support healthcare providers across public, private and voluntary sectors both in the UK and internationally, and are continuing to expand with existing customer bases in Australia, Canada and Ireland.

Successes in UK/NHS

iaptus was commissioned by Dr Ben Wright in 2006 and was first deployed at East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) in 2007. iaptus is now used by over 200 customers including the public, private and voluntary sector and currently supports over 100 NHS organisations. iaptus is the leading clinical software for psychological therapy services in the UK and securely stores the records of over 8 million patients. iaptus was initially developed to meet the needs of NHS talking therapy services, and until recently specialised in supporting mental health services delivering psychological therapies to both adults and children. Due to intelligent system design, flexibility and customisation, services outside of mental health have now begun to see the value in a patient centred, outcomes focussed and data driven EPR. We now also support physical health services such as diabetes remission, CVD prevention and weight management. We have a 95% retention rate for our iaptus EPR over 12 years, and currently have over a 99% customer satisfaction rate. “I’ve worked with Mayden since commissioning the development of iaptus in 2006 and have found they share our passion to give our patients outstanding care through their digital solutions. Their willingness to innovate to give patients and staff a great digital experience gives me reason to strongly recommend them as a strategic technical partner.” Dr Ben Wright, Former Consultant Clinical Psychologist and former Chief Digital Clinical Information Officer at East London NHS Foundation Trust
